The beach of « Saline Bay » has a capacity of 2000 persons. It is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable day.
Life on Mayreau is relaxed, pristine and tranquil.
Mayreau is the smallest inhabited island of the Grenadines with an area of about 1.5 sq. Miles and a population of about 250.
The highest point of the island, Tamarind Hill ( about 85m / 280ft), can be reached by foot.
There is a single road leading up to the village where you can find local bars and a beautiful church over looking the Tobago Cays.
From the village explore the island by going down to Salt Whistle Bay a beautiful white sand beach surrounded with Palm trees.
Some locals also propose taxi service to get there.
At your arrival:
- You will find long beach chairs available for the passengers to relax, a bar shaded with a hut, which will allow the staff to serve refreshments during the day as well as a nice little colorful market with local souvenirs
- A large BBQ will also be at your disposal in order to prepare the buffet lunch.
- Tables and benches are set on the beach so the passengers can enjoy their lunch comfortably.
- Also, if you wish, a local Steel Band, “typical music of the Caribbean”, can be arranged to animate the day on the beach.
